SURELY, AS THE LORD LIVES

SURELY, AS THE LORD LIVETH! Whose Apostle I AM,  NO devil nor it's agent can bring you down.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked, Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; Therefore NO evil shall befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. The wicked shall flee and disappear into darkness.

Just like Jehoshaphat versus the ammonite, moabite and Seirite,  surely they shall gather, but shall make utmost destruction against themselves in the Name of Jesus.

Just like Haman, their evil plots shall catch up with them,  and they shall be buried in the grave they made with their own hands for you.

You are Blessed in the Name of Jesus,  the Power behind the resurrection of our Lord JESUS, shall back up your life and cause you to increase on every sides.

You are Blessed in your body,  in your spirit,  in your finances, in you health, in your career, in you business, in your Job, in your Home, in your relationship, in your family, in your marriage and whatever area of your life you need it to prosper.
Be BLESSED!!! Happy New Week.

You Are Invited... Help From Above Service

And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged. (Genesis 8:1).

And God remembered Noah and sent him help at the very point where he needed it the most. Remember that He is our very present Help in times of Need. (Psalm 46:1).

God knew Noah was locked up in the ark. He knew the rain was pounding the ark. But before Noah ran out of provisions He remembered him and sent him help.
Hear this my friend,  God knows how much you have left in your reserves.
Just before you run out of provisions he will send help in the Name of Jesus.

Just like the widow of Zarephath, before she ran out of provisions God sent an Elijah, (1King 17:7-17). I prophesy "God is sending an Elijah your way this week" in JESUS Name!
Help is coming your way!

I urge you to join us this Sunday for HELP FROM ABOVE Service at ZOLA -Zionwealth Of Life Assembly, Lekki for an awesome, refreshen and HELP service. Be our Guest.

We Celebrate you,  we Love you and God Bless you...

Nigerians can see N1 now equal to $1, Nigerians now gainfully employed, no more hunger in NIGERIA - Gov Wike mocks Buhari, APC

THE governor of Rivers state, Nyesome Wike has reminded Nigerians of President Muhammadu Buhari political campaign to make N1 equal in value to $1.

He said this during the commissioning by former President Goodluck Jonathan of the second phase of Nkpogu bridge constructed by the Rivers State government.

Mocking President Buhari and the APC-led Federal Government on their inability to deliver on their political promises, the Rivers State Governor said, the Nigerian Naira is now equal in value to one US dollar and all Nigerians are now gainfully employed while people no longer die of hunger.

He said, “The party in power told Nigerians that if they were voted in, they would make N1 to be equal to $1. I hope that Nigerians now see that N1 is equal to $1. Is that correct?

Recall in the build-up to the 2015 federal elections, Buhari and his party,  the All Progressives Congress as part of campaign promises did promise to provide employment to all Nigerians within two year, a campaign promise which Governor wike said they could not fulfill which has resulted in hunger and frustration.

He added, ''They said they will make sure that everybody gets employment. I am sure that some of us who are here have all gotten employment. They said that they are going to make life better for Nigerians I hope that we are no longer dying of hunger.”

THE OONI OF IFE is ABOVE All thus saith Prof. Wale SOYINKA

It's has been no news in the past few days that there have been controversies over the supremacy of the Yoruba Dynasty. This is what our distinguish professor have to say.

PROF. WOLE SOYINKA: “The reality is that Kabiesi, the Ooni of Ife is above all, Ile Ife is the cradle of humanity. We know what we know; we know what we accept and believe and that remains the fact…I don’t want you (Ooni) to spend any time or energy at all responding to counter or alternative theories. It is not necessary. The influence of the Ooni and Ile Ife as the cradle of mankind transcended this region. Ife monarch was recognised and referred above other Obas outside the shores of Nigeria. If you walk on the street of Cuba or Brazil, somebody will tap you on your shoulder because they know you are black, they say ‘who are you?’ And you say ‘I am Osun, Ogun, Sango’. At the end, they will ask you how is the Ooni? It means the Yoruba race, culture is beyond this environment.”

The Father's Business...Jesus Is the ONLY Way.

Doing the Work of the Father.

Am most joyful when folks give their life to Christ and I have the privilege to baptize them to God. What a Life? #ChrisOmatsola of all people, so unqualified yet Jesus qualified me freely and easily. My Life in itself is a testimony to me.

So Grateful. YES! Another Soldier for Christ.

Do you want to accept our Lord JESUS Christ into your life today, so that all the Crisis in your will be over as He will give you victory over everything, then I think this is the right time to do so, just say this little prayer after me in faith and believe.

"Father I come to you as a penitent sinner. I believe Jesus died for me, that you raised him from the dead. I accept him today as my Lord and my Saviour." Amen.

It’s that simple! Congratulations!

Don't Waste Time Wondering

Don't Waste Time Wondering

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
– Ephesians 5:17

So many believers wring their hands and worry about whether or not they’re praying according to God’s will. “Oh, dear me,” they say, “I certainly can’t expect God to do something for me that’s outside His will.” And they’re absolutely right.

But they don’t need to waste time standing around looking puzzled. They need to grab their Bibles and find out what the will of God is.

God has made some very specific promises in His Word and it’s His will to fulfill every one of them in your life. In fact, those promises are divinely guaranteed by a contract that’s been signed in the blood of Jesus.

Think of it this way. Your Bible is the last will and testament of Jesus Christ. It is a record of your inheritance. Everything that belongs to you has been written down in that Book and the smartest thing you can do is to find out what is in it. Don’t leave it lying on the coffee table and hit the floor crying, “Oh, God! Oh, God! I’m searching for the truth.”

Pick up your Bible from the coffee table and find out what belongs to you! Find out how you need to change to get in line with God’s will.

Most people don’t do that. They try to change God instead. They’ll go on and on trying to convince God just how badly they hurt or how poor they are. They’ll beg and plead and wheedle, all the while acting as though they had to somehow change God’s mind about the situation. Those folks are in for a long wait.

God is never going to change. The Bible says He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. His will is too. So don’t waste your time wondering if your prayers are in line with it. Get the Book and base your prayers on it. Then you can rest assured the answer is on the way!

Gradually becoming the man you've always dreamt of, have it's own way of generating some sorts of unexplainable Joy in your heart, living up your dreams by HIS Help is so inexplicable.  Grammatical Nomenclature will always fail woefully even a thousand times more in its attempt to define such level of joy and peace of mind.

15days from today (30th.May)  I would be a year older, imagine age intervention is setting into my life without my due consent. Just reminiscing this morning got me all knelt down and just Thanking HIM. I feel blessed and still fulfilling purpose and destiny. Yes! I am blessed and I know it...

Apparently, I derive joy, strength, inspirations and happiness from his Grace, Mercy and Love.... I beg your pardon guys, please excuse my emotional attitude of gratitude to

Get in the Know, Differences Between Motivational Speaking and Biblical Preaching.

The views expressed by the author do not necessarily reflect the editorial opinion of The Christian Post or its editors.

There are tremendous differences between "motivational speaking" and "biblical preaching." In America today, many churches offer one or the other. One approach leaves people "encouraged" in their emotions and in their "self-esteem." The other builds up Christians in the Gospel as the Holy Spirit applies the Scriptures to the hearts and minds of the hearers.

Motivational speakers tell a lot of stories and seek to sway through emotion and pop psychology. Biblical preachers tell some stories, but above all seek to have people influenced by the Holy Spirit through the Word of God. Motivational speakers may or may not throw in a few Bible verses to "salt" their main topic. Biblical preachers rely totally upon the Scriptures to "drive" the content and to feed God's sheep. The Bible is the basis of their message.

Motivational speakers seek to never speak of things which might offend anyone in attendance. Biblical preachers seek to proclaim God's Word with a loving heart as they rely upon the Holy Spirit to "comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable." That is, to apply the message of forgiveness to those who are repentant....and to apply the weight of the Law toward anyone content to continue sinning. After all, if I am never offended by my own behavior, I am certainly not growing in Christ....and I am living in denial. Motivational speakers do not tend to think about the Law and the Gospel when presenting a message. Instead, they attempt to persuade people to change their behavior.

Motivational speakers are good at knowing how people think and behave....but not good at "rightly dividing the Word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15) They reach the level of man's emotions with their appeals, but they are not equipped with the proper biblical knowledge to lead people into the realm where souls meet God and then grow in Christ.

Yes, I want Breaking Christian News

SUBMIT

Motivational speaking tends to be man-centered and people-pleasing. Biblical preaching is Christ-centered and God-honoring. Motivational speaking is often aimed largely at unbelievers. Biblical preaching typically aims where St. Paul aimed in his epistles....that is, it aims mainly at believers.
New Testament worship services are designed for believers....with a loving and open heart for unbelievers to also attend in hopes of them receiving Christ as Savior. Motivational seminars are aimed at anyone who will help to fill the auditorium.

Motivational speakers are reluctant to say, "The Bible says." They realize that many of their hearers don't believe in the inerrancy of Scripture. Biblical preachers have taught God's people to trust Scripture to be the inerrant "God-breathed" message of truth from the Lord. (2 Timothy 3:16)
Motivational speakers need to have personal charisma. Biblical preachers need to be humble in order to be anointed with the power of the Holy Spirit. Charisma influences emotions in the direction of self-actualization. The Holy Spirit influences the soul in the direction of godliness.

Biblical preaching lifts up Jesus Christ. Motivational speaking tends to exalt man's ability to fix his own issues. Biblical preaching proclaims the Gospel message of Christ's death and resurrection for our salvation. Motivational speaking might tack on "the sinner's prayer" at the end of a "how-to" message.

Biblical preaching produces a holy awe of God and a deep respect for His Word. Motivational speaking tends to be light, fun, humorous, and entertaining. It's "showtime" when the motivational speaker steps to the podium. It's "flow time" when the biblical preacher steps forward. He has spent much time in prayer asking the Holy Spirit to fall upon his hearers and speak to them when the Word goes forth.

Motivational speakers usually have a certain number of steps they want you to follow to improve your life. Biblical preaching is not that simplistic. St. Paul explained biblical preaching with these words: "When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power." (1 Cor. 2:1-5)

Biblical preaching freely discusses heaven, hell, and the immortality of the soul. Motivational speaking never addresses hell....and if heaven gets discussed, it is done so in a way that suggests most people of many religions will eventually make it to heaven.
Motivational speakers tend to deliberately or unintentionally place the spotlight upon the messenger. Biblical preachers want the hearers to celebrate Jesus and Him alone. As Oswald Chambers wrote, "Anything that flatters me in my preaching of the Gospel will result in making me a traitor to Jesus, and I prevent the creative power of His redemption from doing its work."

Does this mean that every minister who attempts to engage in biblical preaching is doing so with a loving heart and a life filled with the fruit of the Holy Spirit? No. If a minister is living "in the flesh" by intentionally feeding his sinful nature, his message will not be saturated and dripping with the grace of God and a Spirit-wrought love for the hearers. This is why St. Paul told Timothy, "Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers." (1 Timothy 4:16) Notice that his "life" was highlighted even before his "doctrine." It is easier to present messages that are doctrinally correct than it is to live a holy life, but both are necessary in the life of a pastor and preacher.

There seem to be many more Americans today who hunger for motivational speaking than for biblical preaching. A taste for the Word can only be developed by regularly feeding on the Word....and by holy living....and most of all, by a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. A love of the world produces no such hunger. We are all sinners, and prone to love the world far more than we love the Word. D.L. Moody said this regarding the Bible: "This Book will keep me from sin, and sin will keep me from this Book."

The temptation for the minister in America today is not only to water down the message....but to change the message altogether. The test for all of us who have been called by God to preach the Word is to do so faithfully and with a heart full of love for God, for believers, and for the lost. If we do this the right way by God's grace, then unbelievers will be moved by the Holy Spirit to believe....and believers will be moved by the Holy Spirit to love the Lord and to serve others with their gifts.

When we get charged up by a motivational speaker, the results tend to be superficial and flimsy. When you and I are motivated by the Holy Spirit through the faithful proclamation of His Word, the results are spiritual and eternal.
God will help us to rely upon "the sword of the Spirit" (Eph. 6:17) rather than upon a slick and popular presentation of humanistic moralism. One approach equips the saints for works of service. The other approach strokes the ego of the speaker and the attendees.

God is not interested in our ego. He wants His children to "live a life worthy of the Lord" so that we "may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened will all power according to His glorious might." (Colossians 1:10,11) There is no room for ego in biblical preaching. There is plenty of room for ego in motivational speaking.

Humanistic motivation cannot produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Only God can do that....and He does so largely through the teaching and preaching of His Word, as well as through one-on-one encouragement, assistance, and prayer.

St. Paul instructed Timothy: "Preach the Word." (2 Timothy 4:2) This is what is needed in America today....preachers of the Word whose hearts are filled with the love of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.

God will help those of us who are pastors and preachers as we proclaim the message of the apostles. Not one of us is sufficient for the task. Only His grace can accomplish the work in us and through us. Here is tip for all of us....read Paul's letters....and then go forth to motivate people with those words and with that approach to encouraging the saints. The world is filled with motivational speakers....God's church deserves to have biblical preaching. That's why He ordained it for His people.
Notice how Paul's letters tend to always begin with many examples of what God has done for us in Christ....rather than jumping right into a "quick-fix" of what we get to do for Him. That's the right order. That's the biblical order and emphasis. God's work is what matters....both in our salvation, as well as in our Christian life of discipleship. It's "Christ in you, the hope of glory." (Colossians 1:27) Motivational speaking jumps right into what you need to do to get right in your behavior. The Bible presents a far better approach than "self-help." The Scriptures deliver Jesus to us. The Bible is the "manger" in which Christ is laid before us so that we can gaze upon Him and be filled with the life of God.

Self-esteem is sought by those who have not yet "died to self" and risen to live for Christ. Healthy believers, on the other hand, hunger for God's Word like a baby hungers for food. "Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good." (1 Peter 2:2,3) Jesus never seeks to build up a person's self-esteem.

That is a dead end street as far as God is concerned. St. Paul said it best: "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me." (Galatians 2:20) That experience is a far cry from a life of self-esteem that needs to be constantly propped up by a motivational speaker.
May the Lord open our eyes to see the huge difference between these two approaches....and may He then empower us by the Holy Spirit to do God's work in God's way. Anything less is just a cheap counterfeit, and is has no business being performed in the church of the living God.

Do You Know You can Make so much money Blogging with just your internet connection? Let us Show YOU how did FREEEEE

Today, I will answer the questions I get from many of my readers about how to REALLY profit from a blog.

At this point in my newsletters, I want to believe you already know what blogging is all about.

All the time, I see people who own blogs but they have got no idea on exactly how to turn their blogs into a business that brings in cash.

Others are tied down by the belief that they can only make money from Google Adsense, or selling Clickbank or Amazon products.

So they wait endlessly for almighty Google to approve their accounts and look for shortcuts to get Clickbank to send them checks. At the end of the day, these people are defrauded or they are stagnated or simply lose hope because of inability to make any headway whatsoever.

Over the years I have been online, I have experimented with a lot of them and now know what works anywhere in the world, even in Nigeria.

Before we go ahead to discuss ways to profit from a blog, I will tell why you need a blog in the first place.

Why Everyone And Businesses Need A Blog

In recent time, the internet had undergone serious changes and social media and networking has changed the entire Internet marketing landscape.

One of the top social media tools available for marketing of products and services today is a blog. No wonder one of the top searches done on the web by Nigerians is the keyword: “how to start a blog

It’s obvious even Nigerians and small businesses are realizing the importance of blogging to businesses.

Owning a blog help you to accomplish 3 things.

It is a lead magnet for your business (It helps to attract your exact audience to your business)It is a platform that help you to build a relationship that establishes trust for your brand or name.It offers a way to showcase your products and services politely without annoying your readers or pushing them to patronize you.

Once you have a blog, selling a product, services, or just branding yourself becomes easy.

So if you own an unsuccessful blog already that is not achieving any of the three objectives above or you are planning to start one, my advice is to undergo a training that will help you achieve that. The Blog Cash Videos comes handy in this case. You can access it by clicking here

Ways To Actually Make Money From Blogs

Here are the things you need to do to start making good money from blogs here in Nigeria.

1. Sell Your Products or Services Using Your Blog

Do you have a physical product, a shop with goods, or you are a small business person who has a hard time selling your products.

Set up a blog and target it to one of the products that has the potential to sell more than others in your store. Then when you do get customers to buy, gradually up-sell them to the rest of the products and services you have in stock.

Let’s say you are a fashion designer, and you know different styles and fashions that you can create clothes on.

Here are the things you can do on your blog…

You can write an article on the latest fashion styleYou can offer to teach this style to other fashion designers who wants to upgrade their knowledge and charge them fee for that. You can display latest clothes made out of that fashionYou can publish latest news and updates on the latest fashion craze in town.

If you are in Real Estate, a photographer, a dentist, an engineer, a pharmacist, a painter or whatever profession or services you can offer, setting up a blog will help you to get more client for your business to move forward.

2. Write An Information Book

One area I have excelled greatly in blogging is through the selling of books. More precisely electronic books [ebooks].

I have collectively sold thousands of copies of books I authored on my blog using proactive blogging.

So if you want to make money as well, try writing a simple book and selling it on your blog. Now don’t get me wrong, writing a book is not difficult. You can write a simple 20 paged book that solves a problem that people desperately need solution to.

For example, if you have information on how any Nigerian youth can“Work and Study Abroad”, all you need to do is to open up Microsoft Word, type and organise the information in a way that people will actually enjoy reading it.

More importantly, ensure that this information is correct and real. If you have such a product, and you own a blog on how to secure educational Visa abroad, no doubt, your readers will be happy to purchase such information from
you.

You can write short reports like that in many other areas like health, relationship, investment, football, computing etc.

As long as your blog audience is targeted, you will be able to sell several hundred copies or even thousands of that product overtime as passive income.

3. Become A Consultant

What can you do very well in your life better than most people? Can you successfully help anyone to achieve the result he desires in some areas of life?

For instance, if you are an Estate agent, you can open up a consultancy outfit using your blog to direct people to your office.

If you know how to make a certain perfume, you can become a consultant and offer classes teaching people how to do that.

If you know how to design or develop websites, you can offer such services as well as a web development consultant.

Are you an Architect?
A Lawyer?
A Doctor?
An Artist?
A Teacher?
An Entrepreneur
A Business person

Whatever your profession, identify areas that you can help people with solutions to their problems and set up a consultancy services and you will sell with your blog.

4. Create And Sell Courses

Do you have a skill you would want to teach people how to do? Are you a graphic designer? Do you know you can actually prepare a video course along with tutorials on how to use the videos to learn a particular thing.

The videos and tutorials can be broken down and each video teaching one concept or another. This whole course can be burnt on a DVD or CD ROM, packaged and sold as an information product.

An example of this type of course is The  Blog Cash Videos Here. Though, this course doesn’t have a DVD but it can be easily burnt and sent to people who may have problem with Internet access.

5. Sell Advertisement Space

Some high traffic blogs make their money selling advertisement on their blogs. An example is Linda Ikeji blog

You see, Linda gets hundreds of thousands of website visitors to her blog every month, so companies, individuals and organisations pay for adverts to be placed on her blog for a period of time.

Additionally, Linda also places Adsense like adverts like Google Adsense webmaster account and is paid monthly for clicks made by website visitors on her blog.

So if you have got your blog to a stage where you get at least 1,000 visitors per day, then you can consider selling advert space on your blog because advertisers must ensure you truly get website visitors before they can pay you for the advert placement.

I once mentioned in one of my newsletters that there’s something Linda is not doing on her blog website that if she does it, she will multiply her income by 3 times.

One of those things is becoming a direct affiliate to the products that have those advertisements on her blog. Some of the companies that place those adverts are making more from Linda’s blog traffic than she is from just collecting advert placement fees.

There are other things she is also missing out that if she does it, will shoot her income through the roof.

So if you want to make money blogging, what I have just outlined above is the simple way to go about it.

Basically, everything boils down to selling a product or service to your proposed audience and these products must be anchored on your blog.

Yet some people may still worry and still ask this question: “But I don’t have a product yet, how can I make money blogging?”

If you belong to this group of people, all I will say is this: The most important (and hardest) aspect of blogging is deciding on the niche market to blog about.

Once you have sorted that out, everything thing will fall into place.

For now, here are the things you need to do to get started.

Identify your audience
Create your blogPublish interesting articles on itDrive targeted traffic or website visitorsBuild a list of newsletter readers.

Once you have done the above 5 things, focus on helping people solve their problems by writing more free articles, taking surveys to find the areas where people have problems.

Once you have some readers, they will take your survey and tell you where they have problems. Your job will be to go online to source for this information.

Once you have it….

BOOM… You now have a product!

And guess what?

Because you took a survey to find out what your readers needed before making it available to them, once you present this solution to them in the form of a book or whatever format, you will sell out.

Why I Didn’t Hand Over Power To VP Yemi Osinbajo – Sick Buhari Reveals In His Letter, Shocks The World (MUST READ)

Senate President Bukola Saraki on Tuesday read a letter from President Buhari seeking to notify the Senate of his intention to embark on medical leave. In the letter, President Buhari says VP Yemi Osinbajo will “coordinate” the nation’s affairs while he is abroad for medical treatment indefinitely. The letter states that Vice President Osinbajo is to “coordinate governance” in his absence in accordance with Sec 145(1) of the 1999 Constitution. But in his old letter to the Senate in February, the President said the VP (Osinbajo) will perform the functions of my office. Nigerians are wondering if the VP Osinbajo’s role has now been reduced to a coordinator rather than full acting President of Nigeria. In this regards, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa (Abia North ) raised a point of order stating that there is nothing as a coordinating Vice President as stated in President’s letter.

Rivers Of Revelations -Kenneth Copeland

River of Revelation

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
– James 1:22

Have you ever been in the position in the past where every time you opened the Bible you received a river of revelation? Does it seem lately that the river’s run dry? If so, I strongly suggest that you backtrack to the last revelation God gave you. Back up and see if you acted on it, if you did what God showed you to do. If you didn’t, start again, digging in to that revelation and then putting it into action in your life. You’ll soon find new revelations are beginning to flow.

You see, revelation is most prolific when you are acting on the Word. I’ve discovered that for myself again and again. The more I act on the Word, the more I see into it. That’s why James 1:22 tells us to not only hear God’s Word but to do it!

It may seem that the things God has revealed to you are very insignificant. They may not even make good sense to your natural mind. But do them anyway! If you had insight into the spirit realm, you’d see they’re far more important than you think.

Open God’s Word anew today. Come before Him with expectancy of a fresh revelation of the Scripture and commit to Him to follow it up with actions of obedience. Be a doer of God’s revelations and not a hearer only and your river will never run dry.

"Today, by the grace of God, I want to thank God for what God has done for me in Lagos state because today I'm the only person with three postgraduate degrees of the university of Lagos; in M.Sc, a P.hD and then an Honorary degree," Pastor Adeboye said.

He added: "But that's not all that God did for me in Lagos state, I came to Lagos state as a sinner.

But I got born again in Lagos state in 1973.

"It is in Lagos state that I was ordained a pastor in 1975. It is Lagos state that I became the general overseer of the Redeemed Church of God in 1981," he said.

Thanking God for all he has achieved, Adeboye said God has been very good to him since he came to Lagos state.

"The atmosphere in Lagos allows for anyone to practice his religion, to do it without any hindrance, without any problem at all."

We must ask President Buhari to resign now - Femi Kuti gives reasons

Musician Femi Kuti, and son of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, the late Afrobeat legend, has joined those calling for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Femi Kuti is asking Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to take over the governance of the country arguing that Buhari’s medical trip abroad is at a huge cost to Nigeria and its current economy.

Speaking with TheNETng, Kuti said: “You see, I think he should just be sincere and hand over to Vice President Osinbajo.

“You cannot spend so many months going abroad for medical trip. Please, just resign and hand over to the vice president, or is it by force?

“It is not a do-or-die affair now; do you know what it is costing Nigeria for the president to keep on going on those medical trips outside the country?

“What about the millions of people who cannot afford it?

THEME: LESSONS ON VOW

Memorise:

That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the Lord thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.Deuteronomy 23:23

Read: Judges 11:29-36

11:29 Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jephthah, and he passed over Gilead, and Manasseh, and passed over Mizpeh of Gilead, and from Mizpeh of Gilead he passed over unto the children of Ammon.

11:30 And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the Lord, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands,

11:31 Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the Lord's, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.

11:32 So Jephthah passed over unto the children of Ammon to fight against them; and the Lord delivered them into his hands.

11:33 And he smote them from Aroer, even till thou come to Minnith, even twenty cities, and unto the plain of the vineyards, with a very great slaughter. Thus the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel.

11:34 And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter.

11:35 And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the Lord, and I cannot go back.

11:36 And she said unto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the Lord, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the Lord hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon.

MESSAGE:

Sometimes, some people promise God one thing, but when the time comes to redeem the pledge, they bring something else. Do you think that God does not have records in Heaven? Once you make a pledge to God, don’t try to change it. Ecclesiastes 5:6 says,
“Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?”

After you have committed yourself to a particular thing as a vow, if you later return to say “it was a slip of tongue, God will understand”, you are only deceiving yourself. Such an excuse is not acceptable to God. God expects you to stand by your words. Hence, as part of the requirements to stand in God’s holy place, Psalm 15:4 says if you make a vow, you are expected to do everything possible to redeem it, no matter the cost, sacrifice or inconvenience involved. Do you have this quality? It is part of the integrity we must have as believers.

Another lesson on vow is that you must be extremely careful before making a vow. Think very well before pledging a commitment to do a particular thing, because once it has gone out of your mouth, you may not be able to beat a retreat. Some people get carried away with zeal and make mouth-watering vow but later find it difficult to redeem it. Be careful! Only vow to give up what is within the limit of your capacity and not what you know you cannot cope with! The story of Jephthah is a very touching one. He needed victory so badly that he vowed to sacrifice to God whatever first came out of his house to meet him on his return. After the battle was over, as he returned home with great joy, it was his only child – his virgin daughter – that came out first to welcome him. He felt so bad. He realized the rashness of his vow, but he could not turn back from his promise. Finally, one more lesson on vows is that God does not like to hear the voice of vow-defaulters, and he would ultimately destroy their efforts (Ecclesiastes5:6). Is God fighting you over a vow you have defaulted on? Repent now and restitute. If need be, seek guidance of a Spirit-filled Christian counsellor or pastor.

Action Point:

Unpaid vows are debts that can hinder you from making Heaven. Prayerfully recall your unpaid debts and redeem them fast.

The Law Of Existence. Pastor Poju Oyemade

Dr Oral Roberts was also right on the second law to experiencing the miraculous. When confronted with a situation, out of your own need learn to give under the direction of God to help a cause or someone else who is in need. Give away from yourself to God who is your source.

There is a fundamental law in existence and its the law of sowing and reaping. God works through the seed that men sow. Its when we begin to plant seeds we will start seeing this "....and the seed should spring and grow he knoweth not how"

Do you want to start seeing things emerge in your life that you know not how it came about, things you can't explain? then understand this law, study it by yourself, search the scriptures. Once you see it it will work for you.

In the book of Ecclesiastes 11:5-7King James Version (KJV)

5 As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
6 In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.

Instead of focussing on the channels through which you received in the past that may be folding up, focus on God and plant new seeds for your future.

I know this Law has been abused by many but it doesn't change the fundamental truth about it. Do we say that since the means through which God consummates a marital union and procreates has been thoroughly abused in adultery, fornication and ponography it therefore makes it a fundamentally bad thing? Abusers of the truth must not become the custodians of it and by that stop the truth from being taught. Intimidators must not be allowed to silence people. Both categories must be addressed in prayer.

Think about this, there is no living thing on this earth that is not a direct product of a seed. Men, animals or plants. This is the way God who is the giver of life designed it, a seed must be planted.

The fundamental law is this "God cannot be mocked whatsoever a man sows that also shall he reap"
When believing for a thing, God moves by ministering the seed for the fulfillment of it to the sower, when he in obedience sows He then gives it the seed its body as it pleases Him.

2 Corinthians 9:10. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower .....

1 Corinthians 15:37-39 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

These seeds do not have to be financial, it could be an act of forgiveness, visiting those who are in need, writing a letter to someone who wasn't expecting you do that which lifts the person's spirit.

God Himself followed this law in believing for His Body, He had to plant a seed into the earth to reap the Church from that seed. Jesus Himself said this about it being necessary to die,. John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

The problem is many are believing for a body (physical form of a thing) but completely ignore listening to God when He urges them to to sow the necessary seed.

You must understand this, when giving, you are neither giving to a person nor an organization but to God.

Apostle Chris OMATSOLA of Zionwealth Church Worldwide just gave a prophetic insights that Emir Sanusi Sanusi will become one of the Strongest and Greatest Men from the Northern Nigeria.

Prophecy
"....i see Emir Sanusi II becoming one of the strongest and most influential Religious/Political force from the North. People will fight him and call him names,  but God showed me that He shall become one of the strongest and most powerful force from the north in Nigeria.."

-Apostle Chris OMATSOLA

Sanusi reportedly prepares for legal tussle with Kano Assembly over planned removal as emir

Emerging reports say that Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II has reportedly hired prominent lawyers to prevent his removal from his position as monarch.

According to the report, Sanusi has set up a legal team made up of at least three Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SANs) and other lawyers.

The lawyers are:

1. Lateef Fagbemi (SAN)

2. Kola‎ Awodein (SAN)

3. A.B Mahmoud (SAN) president of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA)

Other top counsels who are yet to be named are also on the team.

The reports also claim that the legal team are already working on legal applications that are set to be filed in Kano High Court today, Wednesday, May 11.

Ibrahim Gama expressed disappointment at statement credited to the emir that the Governor Abdullahi Ganduje-led administration wasted a month in Chinaover the light rail project.

He also criticised the emir’s decision to send his daughter to represent him at the #BringBackOurGirls programme saying it had not happened in the tradition of the emirate before.

A BRIEF STUDY OF THE WORD “KINGDOM”

The word “kingdom” is a prominent feature of the New Testament. The Greek term is basileia , found 162 times in the New Testament. As with most words, kingdom can be used in a variety of senses, depending upon the context.
Let me provide a common example. If someone says: “I am proud of my bridge,” is he speaking of the passageway over the small stream that runs in front of his house or is he referring to a helpful addition to his teeth? Only the larger context will tell.
Let us study some uses of kingdom in New Testament.

Geographical Territory

Occasionally, “kingdom” was used of a region that embraced a political territory. After her licentious dance, Herod Antipas promised the daughter of Herodius “half of his kingdom” (Mk. 6:23). As a tetrarch under the authority of Rome, Herod had no kingdom of his own. His offer was an inflated exaggeration that was an index to his inflamed passion!
Authority Reign of God Among Men
When the Lord Jesus concluded his parable of the “Wicked Husbandmen” (Mt. 21:33ff), which detailed the Jews’ persistent rejection of the prophets, and finally that of the Son of God himself, he announced:

“Therefore I say unto you, the kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and shall be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof” (Mt. 21:43).
Here the expression kingdom refers to the authoritative reign of God that had prevailed for the past fifteen centuries — the Mosaic regime.

That special relationship between Jehovah and the Hebrew people would be terminated as a consequence of their murder of Christ (Mt. 21:39), and such would be transferred to a new, “holy nation” (1 Pet. 2:9), the church (Mt. 16:18-19), called the spiritual “Israel of God” (Gal. 6:16).
See our article elsewhere, God and the Nation of Israel .
This was the fulfillment of the angel’s declaration regarding Jesus: “He shall
reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end” (Lk. 1:33).
It should be noted that the Jews are no longer “God’s chosen people,” though many denominationalists so claim and some of the political policies regarding modern “Israel” are shaped around this misconception.
Furthermore, the “kingdom” mentioned in Luke 1:33 is not a “millennial” kingdom (purported to last 1,000 years), for the Savior’s kingdom was to endure “for ever” and be “without end.”

Christ’s Kingdom

The term kingdom is employed predominately in the New Testament as a synonym for the church that Jesus established. Christ uses the terms interchangeably.
“I will build my church ....I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom” (Mt. 16:18-19).
Peter used those “keys” (a figure of speech for “authority to open”) on Pentecost and also at the house of Cornelius (see Acts 2, 10) by the preaching of the gospel, to admit baptized believers into the church (cf. Jn. 3:3-5).
Christ’s “kingdom” parables, recorded in Matthew 13, anticipated the establishment of the church.
The Lord promised that his disciples would “eat and drink at my table in my kingdom” (Lk. 22:30), which is shown to have been fulfilled in the church’s observance of the Lord’s supper (1 Cor. 10:16, 21).
When the apostle John addressed the seven congregations of Asia (Rev. 1:4), he informed them that he was a partaker with them in Christ’s “kingdom” (Rev. 1:6, 9).

The Heavenly Realm

Finally, the expression kingdom refers also to the ultimate abode of the faithful, i.e., heaven.
Paul cautioned Christians that “through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God” (Acts 14:22).
The great apostle, in his final written words, confidently said:
“The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me unto his heavenly kingdom” (2 Tim. 4:18).
Similarly, Peter wrote that the faithful will be supplied an “entrance into the eternal kingdom” (2 Pet. 1:11).

Conclusion

With so many false ideas about the term kingdom, the careful Bible student should study this matter with the greatest of diligence. If one discovers that he is not within the present kingdom, he should consider earnestly what it takes to enter that realm (Jn. 3:3-5).

Young Lady! Use Your HEAD

The only time you talked about a wedding or marriage was when you asked him for a Kitchen Party Committee contribution for your friend.  He is studying for his second degree at Cavendish University while you sit smiling with only a Birth Certificate thinking you will be his wife.

He goes for work and straight after work goes to his evening classes.  He comes back, you're still in the same pyjamas he left you in.  He studies while you watch  Twist of Fate on Zee World.

He comes back home finds food in the microwave,  house is clean, his cloths ironed but the only serious conversation you have ever had  is when deciding which groceries you had to buy.

The closest you've ever gotten to his family was when he was bathing and  you answered  the phone call thinking it was a side chick only to find that it was the uncle from the village.  The greatest skill you have acquired is applying make up.

The wisest advice you've ever given him was last Friday when you had to choose between going to Kalahari Pub or Break Point in Kabwata. The most spiritual conversation you've ever held was when deciding who had to  say grace over a meal you were invited to.

You invest so much on your head than in your head. You know alot  about Ed Sheeran than you know about the Ministry of Education's Re-entry policy.

You know the most effective morning after pills and the sweetest ciders  but you struggle to know the best recipe and ingredients of a sumptuous meal.

My Sister.... I only have four words for you. It's NEVER too Late.

88-Year-Old Graduate: ‘With God All Things Are Possible’

Rev. Horace Sheffield started college at Shorter University in 1959. Now, 58 years later he’s finally a graduate.  The 88-year-old left Shorter without a diploma back 1965 because his family needed him.  “I had some daughters that were getting ready to go to college and I couldn’t go to college and put them through, so I dropped out with 115 hours,” he said according to WTSP in Tampa.
Sheffield got ordained the same year he graduated high school, so he spent the next 70 years teaching the Bible.  He was married for 68 years, until his wife Bernice died from Alzheimer’s disease a few years ago. That’s when Rev. Sheffield decided to do something for himself. “Sixty years later I want that degree, and I’m going to get it…,” he said. Sheffield reenrolled at Shorter University in Rome, Ga.
One of his granddaughters posted a picture of him on graduation day, he’s holding a chalkboard sign that says, “With God all things are possible.” Jill Brazier said she knew her grandmother would be proud. “I know my granny is smiling down on him right now saying, ‘I knew you could do it Horace,'” Brazier told WSB-TV Atlanta.  Sheffield’s degree is in Christian studies, but he says he has no plans of giving up retirement.

Man Narrates How He Was Defrauded Of N6.9million In A Ponzi Scheme

Daniel Nyang, a prosecution witness in a N6.9 million Ponzi Scheme fraud trial on Monday told an Ikeja Division of the Lagos High Court how one Darlington Agomuo, and several others were defrauded by one Chibuogum Oraelosi under the pretext that the sum will qualify them to a profitable investment under the scheme, named Convenient Options Multilevel Scheme.

Daniel Nyang, an Economic and Financial Crimes witness, said he was introduced to the scheme by one Mike Marolo.
Mrs. Oraelosi is the Managing Director of Convenient Options Multilevel Scheme, a multilevel marketing scheme where recharge cards were used as products, with a subscription fee of N30,000. While N20,000 is for an individual’s registration, N10,000 is for recharge cards.
“I picked interest and realized that it involved N30,000 to get started,” said Mr. Nyang.
“I thought of bringing people who don’t have N30,000 and have someone sponsor them so long as they kept bringing people into the scheme and in return, they will be paying through their proceeds or what we call bonus.”
“At that point where I never had finance to go into the project, I met Mr. Darlington and after explaining the business to him, he was willing to be the sponsor on the condition that I will take him to the Convenient Option office to meet with Mrs. Oraelosi.”
Mr. Nyang further said that, “at the meeting, Mrs. Oraelosi clarified all doubts and made all of us believe that the business is genuine and workable and the sponsorship started, we filled forms, recruiting people and opened account with the Micro finance bank that Mr. Darlington had approached because of his relationship with the Micro finance bank.”
“In the first month, we received bonus of about N200,000 as a group. But the following month, issues started cropping up and as of the last information received from Mr. Darlington, he said he had disbursed about N3.5million to Mrs. Oraelosi,” said Mr. Nyang.
According to the witness, “In each person you introduce to the scheme, you are to be paid N1,500 as bonus and when you get to a certain level depending on your down-line, we receive incentives like Honda CR-V and other incentives. “At the second and third month when people who signed up weren’t receiving their bonuses, pressure started. The Micro finance bank withdrew their sponsorship with the unfolding of events.
“Subsequently, we were informed by Mr. Darlington that the United Bank of Africa (UBA) had taken up sponsorship and we were required to open an account before we could enjoy sponsorship. Mr. Darlington paid the money for everyone in the group including me. But there was still no headway.
“When people revolted, including Darlington against another of her (Mrs. Oraelosi) business plan which involved signing up with N50,000, she announced that they were moving away from recharge cards network marketing to Foodstuffs network marketing.
“On several occasions, we went to her for explanations on the original business plan we had, she chased us with mobile policemen and security dogs. Not too long we could not reach her information got to us that she had travelled to U.S.A,
” said Mr. Nyang.
Justice Hakeem Oshodi adjourned the case to July 5 for continuation of trial. Mrs. Oraelosi and her firm, Convenient Options Limited, are facing three-count charge of fraud and obtaining by false pretence. She pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Seized $43 million: Why Wike, Fani-Kayode, others must not go scot-free – Amaechi

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has lashed out at the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike for linking the $43m recently discovered by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in an Ikoyi apartment to him.
Recall that Wike had claimed that the huge sum allegedly uncovered by the anti-graft agency was owned by his state government and allegedly hidden by Amaechi, who was once a former governor of Rivers State.
But in a statement by his media office, the Minister said he has been vindicated since Wike could not go to court to prove that the money belongs to Rivers State.
The statement reads,“Nigerians would recall that on the night of Friday, April 14, during his hurriedly arranged shambolic press briefing, Wike had threatened the President Buhari administration with fire and brimstone, vowing the mother-of-all legal action against the federal government if the over $43million was not given to him within seven days.
“The 7-day ultimatum has long expired, yet no action, whether legal or otherwise by Wike to prove his malicious allegations and claim to the money.

“Again, on Friday, May 6, another wonderful opportunity was open for Wike to prove his frivolous allegations against Amaechi and claim the money, before Muslim Hassan of the federal high court, Lagos. The judge had on April 13, directed that anyone who owns the money should come forward to claim it. Neither Wike nor his lawyers were anywhere near the court. Again, another no show.
“Wike’s failure to prove this his latest malicious outburst against Amaechi also clearly shows that all previous fake stories of allegations upon allegations of graft against Amaechi by Wike are all lies, like this Ikoyi silly lie from a sick and warped mind.
“Detractors of the fight against corruption like Nyesom Wike, and his lackeys and minions like Femi Fani-Kayode, Lere Olayinka, one senator George Sekibo etc, should not be allowed to go scot-free with their politically motivated lies to distract the fight against corruption.”

N11bn oil scam: DSS trying to blackmail me – Ifeanyi Ubah finally opens up

The chairman of Capital Oil and Gas limited, Andy Ubah has described his arrest by the Department of State Services as a complete attempt to blackmail him.
The oil magnate said the claim by the DSS that he was involved in theft of petrol kept by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, in his tank farm in Lagos was a wrong accusation.
The agency on Friday picked up Ubah over his connection with the missing petroleum product, which was valued at over N11bn.
The department said Ubah’s action amounted to economic sabotage, with “capacity to negatively impact on national economy”.
Reacting, however, in a statement issued on Monday and obtained by DAILY POST, Ubah said his arrest by the DSS was a breach of his fundamental right to liberty, freedom of movement and association.
The statement signed by the management of the company said all the allegations leveled against their boss, Ubah were false and unfounded.
The statement reads in full.
The incarceration of our Chairman by DSS is unlawful, a disregard for the rule of law and a breach of Dr. Ubah’s fundamental right to liberty, freedom of movement and association.
A similar invitation was extended to Dr. Ubah on the 24th of March 2017, which he honoured as a law-abiding citizen only to be detained in DSS offices in Abuja for almost a month.
During that period a Fundamental Rights Enforcement Application was brought on behalf of Dr. Ubah at the Federal High Court Lagos as Suit No. FHC/L/C/487/2017.
Although an order was made for his production in court in that action, rather than obey the order, officers DSS, using a combination of coercion and cajoling, constrained him to discontinue that action upon an understanding that he would be immediately released. He was not released until over two weeks after he had complied and completely discontinued that action.
Upon his release on the 13th of April 2017, it was now discovered that during his incarceration he had been coerced into executing various documents committing the company to make certain payments and pledge some assets to NNPC Retail Limited. He was also made to execute a document in favour of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).
As soon as his doctors permitted access to him an action was brought at the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court seeking, inter alia, an order to restrain DSS and others from further inviting, arresting or threatening to arrest or detain him in regard to the NNPC/NNPC Retail Ltd matters.
The processes originating the new action filed as Suit No. FHC/L/CS/644/2017, were served on the DSS on the 28th of April 2017.
Dr. Ubah’s lawyers wrote to the DSS pointing out that any preemption of the judicial intervention during the pendency of the new action is totally irregular, a disregard of the rule of law, the constitutional guarantees of separation of powers and breach of the doctrine of Lis Pendens.
Rather than respect its constitutional and statutory limits the DSS has brazenly abducted Dr. Ubah and commenced a media blitz to justify their illegality.
THE ACCUSATIONS OF THEFT AND ECONOMIC SABOTAGE ARE COMPLETELY FALSE.
For the avoidance of doubt and to put the records straight, NNPC owes Capital Oil & Gas Industries Limited over N16 billion represented as follows:
$5,540,000 (N2.2billion) – unpaid berthing fees for NNPC vessels that called at our Jetty
$2,952,555 (N1billion) – invoice for chartered vessels to carryout STS operations Lagos offshore to ferry product (PMS) to storage at the request of NNPC since 2015
N1.170billion – amount owed to Capital Oil & Gas Industries Limited for throughput services from March to October 2016
N3.146billion – payment made to NNPC for 26,820million litres of PMS vide Pro-forma Invoice No. 53598 which is yet to be delivered to us
N2.0billion – Payment to NNPC in April to facilitate the release of the Managing Director and engender reconciliation which NNPC reneged on.
N6.266billion – N0.80k and N0.40 Jetty Throughput charge on over 7 billion liters dispensed for NNPC by us.
On economic sabotage, it is unimaginable that a company which has stood by NNPC and by extension the country at very critical petroleum supply crises can now be accused of engaging in activities to undermine the effective distribution of petroleum products across the country having thwarted a nationwide industrial action called by oil marketers during the epic inauguration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
