You owe God and God consider you a Robber, someone who takes what is rightfully belonging of another person, even while the owner us there.
That is who you are, when you refuse to pay your Tithe .
Tithing is so compulsory and important in our walk with God.
You see, Life was never meant to be hard or difficult, God as given us a laid down principles and patterns that we are to follow, in order to have the kind of breakthrough we desire and so as to see things, the way we want it, or even better still the way God wants us to see them, but some people’s experience in Life is not like this, they are having some serious hard times and they are not obviously concern or taking note of what is happening or what can be responsible, they have come to take somethings to be normal when it is actually not.
God wished that we live in good health, even as your Soul Prospers, that is what the Bible says – 3 John 1:2 .
But someone will say What is Tithe?
Tithe is the 10% of your Income, that which comes in for you, from your Business, what you are doing, or even that which was given to you, as a dash, anything that God channels into your Life to benefit you as yours, the 10% of that that income, is Gods’, it is not yours, you have the 90% to yourself and give the 10% to God.
So If you earn 1million Monthly, 100,000 becomes your Tithe, it is not game, it is a Covenant, The Bible says;
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing , that there shall not be room enough to receive it ( Malachi 3:10 ).
From The Scripture above, we found out that, God commanded Tithe, to be paid, it is a divine Instruction, which we must obey, if we want to be Bless!
The Lord said ” Prove me now, if I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a Blessing” so God promises to Bless, when you pay your Tithe!
This is a Covenant!
It can not be broken, God is a covenant keeping God, when you fulfill your own part of the covenant, God also fulfill his part, to the end that his word can be made manifest.
Many at times, i have seen Christian Believers, complain about how difficult life is, Business is not working and all that well, Let’s see what the Bible says here;
7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the
Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. ( Malachi 3:7-10 )
So anytime, you refuses to pay your Tithe, you are Cursed! And it is the reason why things become every hard and difficult, this is not meant to be so in the first place, but the Blessings of God, are provoked by our Obedience, the more Obedience you become, the more eligible you are to be Blessed of The Lord.
I once shared the Story of America First Billionanire, John D. Rockefeller, he was a faithful Tithe Payer, at a point in his Life, he saw that the TITHE is getting very high so he stopped paying, and he was like, “ How can I be paying this huge amount as Tithe ?
And when he stopped been faithful, God also stopped the Blessings, his Businesses and finance went seriously down, fortunately for him, he got back into the covenant and began to pay his Tithe faithfully as expected of him, and the Blessings of God began to come into his Life again, God is not a robber, Far be it that the almighty should do wickedness.
He is too faithful to fail, God does not need your Money, but you will always need his BLESSINGs , and that Blessing is provoked on the platform of Covenant practice, which Tithing is a major player.
As a child of God, if you don’t want things to get worse and be very tight for you, then be serious with the covenant, stop skipping your tithe, Stop eating your Tithe, be faithful with with your Tithing, so that God can be faithful in Blessing you.
God does not need your money, God does not need you for anything, but you need him for everything!
The Issue of Tithing can also be liken to the Story of Adam and Eve;
Adam And Eve Eat Their Tithe .
They Were Not Contented With The 90% God Had Given Them Freely.
“And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden; but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.'” – Gen.3:2-3.
Prayer : Father, Help me to be consistent and faithful with my Tithing from now henceforth and forever in Jesus name!
