HONOR IS A SEED, SOW IT!

HONOR IS A SEED, SOW IT!

I was hosting the Senior Pastor of the last Ministry where I served as a Missionary Pastor, who was also the spiritual authority over my life then, in a huge Programme in Pretoria, South Africa in March 2018... I decided to go for this Presidential Welcome and reception right from O R Thambo International Airport Johannesburg, down to his Lodge in Pretoria, and all throughout his one week stay in South Africa...
And one of my leaders then, came to me after the Airport Reception and asked; Pastor, why did you spend so much for this Welcome & Reception, and why did you have to go to the extent you went to do all these things you did?
I answered him in one word! HONOR!

HONOR is not a thing you command or coerce from People, HONOR is not earned, HONOR is bestowed by heaven, so when heaven finds a man who has the heart to HONOR people over him and those below him, they take his name into the record. HONOR is a SEED, when you plant it, you automatically enroll your Name into the school of HONOR! you become a compulsory candidate to be HONORED in your life. You might not necessarily get the HONOR from the same people you HONORED, but God will ensure that as long as you have sown the SEED of HONOR, you must be HONORED. And you really don't need to bother yourself whether the person you are HONORING deserves it or NO, leave that to heaven to sort, if he does not deserve it, it will be cut short... you just focus on your duty to genuinely HONOR those people that God has brought around you, whether they are your Superiors or your Subordinates.

ESTHER 6:1-3,6,10,11...
..."1 That night the king could not sleep. So one was commanded to bring the book of the records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king. 2 And it was found written that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's eunuchs, the doorkeepers who had sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus. 3 Then the king said, "What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?" And the king's servants who attended him said, "Nothing has been done for him."
6 So Haman came in, and the king asked him, "What shall be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?" Now Haman thought in his heart, "Whom would the king delight to honor more than me?
10 Then the king said to Haman, "Hurry, take the robe and the horse, as you have suggested, and do so for Mordecai the Jew who sits within the king's gate! Leave nothing undone of all that you have spoken. 11 So Haman took the robe and the horse, arrayed Mordecai and led him on horseback through the city square, and proclaimed before him, "Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!"...

...When heaven has destined that you MUST be HONORED in your life, they bring you to serve and to HONOR other people so you can have the opportunity to sow the seed of HONOR, that is how they qualify you to be HONORED. So Mordecai had done an act of HONOR, and his Name and his story were taken into records; and God used that to save him, HONOR him and save the entire nation of Israel on the day of difficulty! Imagine, there was no HONORABLE did in his Name. HONOR is not how you bend to greet someone, or how much money you can give as a gift or sow as seed, HONOR is a thing of the heart, that is the reason only heaven can truly determine who has the heart of HONOR, and who is qualified to be HONORED. So anytime God gives you an opportunity to SERVE & to HONORED anyone, whether the person is above or below you, do it with the whole of your heart until you are either dismissed from your services or until God says its time to move on.

Once you have sown the seed of HONOR, God will use even your enemies who have planned to take you down all this while to bring you HONOR; just like in the case of Mordecai in Esther chapter 6. Keep HONORING People, your own time for HONOR is just around the corner. In this coming year 2019, God will remember every single deed of HONOR you have done in your life, and cause people to HONOR you in Jesus Name. Amen!
