Obey To Succeed
“His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do [it.]” John 2:5

Success in life begins with obedience to scriptural instructions. At each phase of your life, you will be receiving divine instructions on required steps relevant to your purpose and success, it is up to you to obey or disobey such instructions as they determine your outcome. The way God brings about a positive change in our circumstances is through His word. This sometimes may not appeal to our logic and has no correlations with our situations, ours is to diligently obey because therein lies the miracle.


In a wedding ceremony at Cana of Galilee that hosted lots of dignitaries, including Mary the mother of Jesus, Jesus Christ and His disciples, the wines got exhausted; it was a disgraceful situation for the host since important dignitaries were still around.  In a bid to salvage the situation, Mary the Mother of Jesus Christ, acknowledging the presence of Jesus requested His intervention; she asked the servants to do whatever Jesus instructs them to do, as seen in our opening scripture. It was wine they needed, yet Jesus instructed them to fetch water and serve it to the Chief Guest of the occasion; sounds illogical? Yes! But those men did as instructed and the water became wine. Sometimes, we are too logical; we want to help God understand why what He told us is not a possibility, and in doing so we deny ourselves the miraculous. What have you been instructed to do by the Word of God that you are still debating? You delay yourself delaying to obey the Word of God. Only the obedient will experience the miraculous; only the obedient will see the glory of God.

PRAYERS
Heavenly Father I thank You for inspiring me by Your Word today, I receive grace to wholeheartedly obey every instruction of Your Word thereby experiencing the miraculous and the glory of God in every aspect of my life, in Jesus Mighty Name!
